Our Issue

We Want Our Children To Be Safe.

Legislation can save lives and prevent gun violence, and we need your help to get these bills passed into law. When lawmakers hear directly from their constituents, it matters. It’s up to us to speak out to protect all of our children. With the support of grassroots activists, we championed our nation’s first comprehensive school safety law to provide critical resources for students to learn about violence prevention. Join us in creating more change!

Gun Safety

We are working to expand background checks on all firearm sales, pass temporary transfer orders, create secure storage laws, and other measures to ensure more children are safe from violence.

School Safety

We are working to ensure all student have access to violence prevention programs, which train students and educators to recognize warning signs of someone who may hurt themselves or others — and teaches them when and how to get help.

Mental Health

Keeping children safe means supporting their emotional and mental well-being. We are working to expand access to life-saving mental health services and supports for students, including suicide prevention training and school-based care.

Mark Barden

“We are proud to work with the bipartisan champions to ensure we're doing everything we can to protect our kids and that millions more students will be trained to know the signs of violence and act to save lives. Our work does not end here, we will continue to bring our prevention programs to schools and communities across the country and advocate for life-saving policies.”
